The Grateful Dead – Egypt 1978. Ken Kesey original prankster and close friend of the Dead came to witness this latest “Rocking of the Cradle of Civilization." He later recalled that the Grateful Dead's assorted family, friends and fellow Pranksters arrival in Egypt's Nile as a very special contribution to the then-critical Middle Eastern peace effort.
